Edward Walters was an historian of ancient texts. Reading an occult scroll, he unknowingly swore an oath of servitude to the mysterious and powerful, Guardian of the Gates. Spirited away from the dusty life he had known, he was trained to mastery in the mystic arts. But he learned his mentor meant to use him as a sacrifice to allow a demon horde access to this realm. Edward swore to defend the Earth, and defeated the treacherous Guardian, becoming the Gatekeeper of this plane of existence, the master of all magics, the Sorcerer.
